The message is "Work Matters". MDOD wanted to educate businesses and the general public on the value of including individuals with disabilities to the workforce and encouraging businesses to hire job seekers with disabilities. Disabled individuals are often only given opportunities to work in food service, janitorial or horticulture but most are capable of much more. The spots we created were designed to make people stop and think, and to show the business community that these individuals are fully capable individuals in most work settings.
